In your own space, create a fanwork. A drabble, a ficlet, or an icon, art or meta or a rec list. A picspam. Something.

I debated writing a fic, but I've got a killer headache so I'd probably go insane. Instead, I decided to create a rec list. On some of the other days, I've had to pass over some of my absolute favourite fics because they didn't quite fulfill the requirements. So, here we go. Some of my absolute favourite fics - no specifications. There's a lot of them. I'm too lazy to double check other days, so apologies if I repeat some.

Fandom: GLEE

Deontological Ethics
Summary: Maybe Burt should hate Blaine, but he can't.
Pairing: Kurt/Blaine
Rating: PG

Imaginary
Summary: Kurt has had an "imaginary friend" since he was four years old. He heard him, saw him, wherever he went. Until one day when the boy mysteriously disappeared. But eight years later, Kurt learned that everything he remembered was all real.
Pairing: Kurt/Blaine
Rating: PG-13

Every Word You Write And Sing
Summary: A walk through the twists and turns of poetic language in relation to father-son relationships, divorces, running away, and the boys you (eventually) fall desperately in love with. Alternatively, Blaine and his dad are poetry nerds and Kurt doesn't really get it.
Pairing: Kurt/Blaine
Rating: PG-13

Armistice
Summary: Kurt and Blaine were together in every sense of the word. They were one another's first kiss, first boyfriend, first love, but it didn't come without problems. Kurt Hummel is the son of a hunter - a man who spends his life tracking and killing anything supernatural and bad, from ghosts to demons, to werewolves, wendigo and even vampires. It's a hard life, lived on the road with little money and a lot of danger. Kurt, too, was raised a hunter, and when they were old enough, Blaine made the decision to join the ranks so that he could be with his love full time. Years on, that's all changed, and they are separate men, reduced to friends, but when Kurt vanishes, Blaine knows he's the only person who can find him and bring him back - because it's that or Blaine won't be coming back either. A "Supernatural" AU, told in pieces that alternate between the present day and flashes of the past.
Pairing: Kurt/Blaine
Rating: R

The Luckiest
Summary: Blaine broke Kurt's heart 3 months before high school graduation. Now, four years later, their group of friends reunites at a lake house to marry off two of their own. With luck, Kurt and Blaine will also be able to finally mend something that's stayed broken for far too long.
Pairing: Kurt/Blaine
Rating: NC-17

Fandom: SUPERNATURAL

Stopped At The Crossroads
Summary: There are no demons, only night terrors. There are no funerals, only family in-fighting. What would Sam and Dean be like in a world without demons?

Rating: PG-13

Like The Wind Needs The Trees
Summary: dean is a cop and sam is his no-good brother
Pairing: Sam/Dean
Rating: R

The Time-Travelers Brother

Pairing: Sam/Dean
Rating: R

Home Front
Summary: When the time came, Dean chose the house.
Pairing: Sam/Dean
Rating: R

Wolfpack
Summary: Everybody called them the Wolfpack – every hunter, at least. Civilians likely called them trouble, and kept well away.
Pairing: Sam/Dean
Rating: R

Second Glance
Summary: John is only ever a second glance to his boys, who see each other first, always first, with little room at the edges of their vision for anybody else.
Pairing: Sam/Dean
Rating: R

Supercross
Summary:Set in a world where competitive team stunt biking shows - explosive entertainment performances full of tricks, talent, fireworks and music - dominate the world of freestyle motocross biking, this story follows Sam and Dean Winchester as they deal with their lives, bikes, flips, tricks - and love.
Pairing: Sam/Dean
Rating: NC-17

Countdown
Summary: Dean's doing math in the dark, insomniac math, counting down till the alarm goes off.
Pairing: Sam/Dean
Rating: NC-17

We Were Twenty
Summary: It's sunny the day he buries his brother. Winter sun, where the air's cold and everything is too bright, hard on his eyes and his lungs. These are the days made for hats and scarves and mittens in dozens of colors. The light washes the world out on its own, and the funeral is worse than in rain.
Pairing: Sam/Dean
Rating: NC-17

Under My Skin
Summary: Sam's name has three letters in it. That really annoys Dean, because Sam is the best thing that's ever happened to him.
Pairing: Sam/Dean
Rating: NC-17

Fit A Skeleton Inside My Skin
Summary: Sam is just confused. It's not an excuse Dean gets to use on himself.
Pairing: Sam/Dean
Rating: NC-17

Like Luggage Of Some Departed Traveler
Summary: Rogue wildlife attacks? Check. Virulent, incurable pandemic? Double check. Relentless string of natural disasters? Check, check, check. Dean's got it hard enough dealing with the collapse of modern society, so imagine his dismay when he goes to Stanford Law to fetch the brother he's been painfully in love with for most of his life and finds that brother happily married. When Sam, Dean, and Jess set off across the country to find their dad, it's all they can do just to stay alive, much less stay true to each other.
Pairing: Sam/Dean, Sam/Dean/Jess, Sam/Jess, Dean/Jess
Rating: NC-17

Everything With Wings Is Restless
Summary: The upsides of working a travelling double act with your brother bear a remarkably close resemblance to the downsides. Namely: you travel around the country with your brother (plus one white rabbit) in a big-ass black caravan, and you (sometimes) get paid for it.
Pairing: Sam/Dean
Rating: NC-17

Dictionary For A Dead Language
Summary: Under mysterious circumstances bitterly disputed by the historians, Sam Winchester said yes to Lucifer. Three years later, Lucifer is gone and the familiar landscape that the Winchesters once traversed is a burnt-out ruin of its former self - not to mention the damage done to Lucifer's vessel. Trapped in a grotesque parody of domestic bliss with a brother he no longer recognizes, a shell-shocked Dean has no reason to believe that happy endings exist for men like the Winchesters.
Pairing: Sam/Dean
Rating: NC-17

Treasure
Summary: It's 2018 and the human race is almost extinct, wiped out by a mutant threat not even the angels saw coming. Sam and Dean live on a military compound, one of the few remaining human communities still fighting for survival. Dean is one of the military leaders, dedicated to wasting as many of the mutants he can, while Sam, permanently injured and confined to the base, is desperately searching for the answer that will save what's left of humanity, and finally bring both boys the peace they crave.
Pairing: Sam/Dean
Rating: NC-17

Sleepwalking Back Again
Summary: This is a story about messed-up boys messing each other up even more, and that's all it is
Pairing: Sam/Dean
Rating: NC-17

Malleus Maleficarum
Summary: his dark materials + spn; in other words, sam/dean with daemons.
Pairing: Sam/Dean
Rating: NC-17

This Is Ourselves (Under Pressure)
Summary: After Nightshifter, Sam and Dean hit the road. What follows is three months of fear and frustration with the FBI hot on their heels, trying to avoid the long arm of the law while still continuing to work. It's not easy; being on the run doesn't leave much time for breathing, never mind sleep, sex or any much-needed downtime.
Pairing: Sam/Dean
Rating: NC-17

Cornerstone
Summary: After Sam leaves and the asshats wearing their faces are dealt with, Dean finds a video online. A security camera recording from the Leviathans' second bank hit.
Pairing: Sam/Dean
Rating: NC-17

Fandom: X-MEN: FIRST CLASS

Of Kittens And Teacups And Love

Pairing: Charles/Erik
